Dear Agent:

Following is a Mission: Possible checklist to use to keep track of your completed assignments. Once you have earned the minimum point requirements (23), you will have completed your mission and become an Agent and official SSI Ambassador for Christ! (PDF Version of This Checklist)

Those who earn all possible points (36) will become eligible for a scholarship and/or monetary reward for becoming a Special Agent.

Please note:

• The following checklist is just a tool you can use to keep track of our assignments. For complete descriptions of the requirements for each task, please refer to the reporting forms you received in your AmLeague packet.
• Your assignments are not officially complete until Headquarters verifies receipt of your assignments.
• All items on the checklist are worth 1 point.
• Deadline for all projects:  August 31

Mission: Tactics

5 points required, 5 points possible

• Mentor Form - REQUIRED (must mail in)
• Mentor Follow Up Meetings - REQUIRED (must mail in)
• One-page summary about your experience at SSI - REQUIRED
• Promote the SSI Summer Program - REQUIRED (must mail in)
• Final Project: summary of your Ambassador League experience - REQUIRED

Mission: Reading

2 points required, 3 points possible; Choose from 5 books:

• Book report: God’s Politician (Garth Lean, 1989)
• Book report: Why I Am A Christian: Leading Thinkers Explain Why They Believe (Norman Geisler, 2001)
• Book report: Roaring Lambs (Bob Briner, 1993)
• Book report: Lifeviews: Understanding The Ideas That Shape Society Today (R.C. Sproul, 1986)
• Book report: What If Jesus Had Never Been Born? (D. James Kennedy, 1994)

Mission: Research

5 points required, 11 points possible

• Biblical study: Lordship of Christ
• Biblical study: God’s mercy
• Biblical study: Justice
• Biblical study: Self-government, self-control
• Biblical study: Civil government
• Biblical study: Sanctity of marriage
• Biblical study: Sanctity of life
• Biblical study: Homosexuality

• Biblical study: Nature of man

Mission: Observe

3 points required, 4 points possible

• Legislative session & committee observance (must mail in)
• Local judicial trial (must mail in)
• School board, city council or county commission meeting (must mail in)
• Shadow experience with local leader (must mail in)

Mission: Taking Action

8 points required, 13 points possible

• First letter to the editor - REQUIRED
• Second letter to the editor - REQUIRED
• Third letter to the editor - REQUIRED
• Fourth letter to the editor
• Fifth letter to the editor
• First interview of local leader - REQUIRED
• Second interview of local leader - REQUIRED
• Third interview of local leader - REQUIRED
• Fourth interview of local leader
• Fifth interview of local leader
• Volunteer 10 hours for a community-service or non-profit organization* (must mail in)
• Volunteer 10 hours for a political or social-action organization* (must mail in)
• Work 10 hours on a political campaign* (must mail in)

*Any 2 of these 3 assignments is REQUIRED.

All items that say "must mail in" have a corresponding verification form in the AmLeague packet. Those verification forms must be sent via U.S. Postal Service to SSI:
