Letter to the Editor #5 - Legislators Don't Deserve Pay Cut
Dear Editor:
Last month, I had the opportunity to Job Shadow one of our State Representatives for a day. It was a great experience.
I have heard that there may be a pay cut in the near future for State Representatives and Senators. I strongly oppose this. When I was with the Representative that day, I was amazed by just how much they do. Each one of them is constantly running from place to place, even at night and on weekends, and are always under pressure from their constituents to vote a certain way. And this is all after the time, energy and money they have spent on their campaign.
These people deserve all the money that they are being paid, and if not, they deserve more.
