Homosexuality
To most human beings homosexuality is beginning to become an acceptable lifestyle to live by. In some states gay men and lesbian women are allowed to be united in marriage which clearly goes against God's word. There are even homosexual churches that individuals attend. Personally I do not agree with homosexuality, but I was not put on this earth to pass judgment; I have my own sins to repent for. The truth lies within God's word and God's word is in the Holy Bible; the holy bible clearly states that homosexuality is horrific sin.
Romans-Chapters 1:24-32
24Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. 25They exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the creator who is forever praised. Amen. 26Becuase of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. 27In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed incident acts with other men, and received in themselves the do penalty for their perversion. 28Furthermore, since they did not think it worth while to retain the knowledge of God, He gave them over to a depraved mind, to do what ought not to be done. 29They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice. They are gossips, 30slanders, God haters, insolent, arrogant and boastful; they invent ways of doing evil; they disobey their parents; 31 they are senseless, faithless, heartless, ruthless. 32Although they know Gods righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them.
In the bible God clearly states that any individual who is a homosexual is to be put to death. He also says that any individual who approves of homosexuality also deserves death. What exactly is approving of homosexuality? Is approving of homosexuality the offering of a glass of water and some food to eat to a homosexual? This question remains unanswered for so many people including myself.
In the bible God labels a homosexual a "shrine prostitute," I believe he labeled those who were homosexuals this because they disgraced the temple and they disgraced their own bodies by laying; with those of the same sex.
Deuteronomy-Chapters 23-17
No Israelite man or woman is to become a shrine prostitute.
1 Kings-Chapter 14:24
There were even male shrine prostitutes in the land; the people engaged in all the detestable practices of the nations the Lord had driven out before the Israelites.
The following passage shows that God is very displeased with homosexuality. The shrine prostitutes knew just as homosexual men and women know now that the consequence of being homosexual is a loss of a relationship with God and a ticket to death.
1 kings-Chapter 15:12
"He expelled the shrine prostitutes from the land and got rid of all the idols his fathers had made."
I have come to the understanding that homosexuals are also people. Every one makes their own choices in life. I just wish that every one understands the consequences of their decisions clearly, before they enact out their choices.
