The Pill of Chaos
In Portland, Maine, education officials are allowing their school health center to give birth control pills to middle school girls. Fury and rage hit my mind, I have sisters in middle school, what message would education officials be sending them if they provided them with a supply of birth control pills. What about God's word are we now training the generations to come to go against God's word. God tells people that pre-marital sex is unjust through his scripture. "Flee from sexual immorality. Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were brought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body." (1 Corinthians 6: 18-20) Giving an 11 year old girl a birth control pill is not exactly encouraging her to seek out God's word. Come on! What are we trying to do decrease the number of successful women we have in the world by corrupting girls at a young age? Someone needs to do some serious regrouping before the pill of chaos becomes contagious to the rest of America. I am a senior in high school and I don't even believe that education officials should have the right to decide on rather a high school student should receive birth control. If America lets this issue slip through the cracks then we can look forward to a future of defiant generations, and chaos between parents and school districts.
