Sanctity of Marriage
As we all know it can get extremely hot during the bright summer days that a majority of Americans love. One thing we as humans all depend on during the summer is ice. Ice that we enjoy when its time to cool our bodies down. The creator of the ice that we all appreciate is the freezer. What would we do without the freezer that creates ice for us?
Luke-chapters 20:34-35
Jesus replied, "The people of this age marry and are given in marriage. 35 But those who are considered worthy of taking part in that age and the resurrection of the dead will neither marry nor be given in marriage."
God is stating that you need to be married or only given for marriage to only one person. In order to experience the sanctity of marriage, a marriage should only involve two individuals. We as people can't live life as a freezer and become adulteresses dedicating ourselves to marry everyone as a freezer obligates itself to provide ice for everyone.
Romans-chapters 7:2-3
By law a married woman is bound to her husband as long as he is alive, but if her husband dies she is released from the law of marriage. 3 So then if she marries another man while her husband is still alive, she is called an adulteress."
When two individuals are married vowels are read that state; till deaths do us apart. People need to understand that marriage is a life time commitment between two people. So there is no such thing as divorce and adultery in marriage. The only time marriage is broken is when a spouse dies.
Hebrews chapter 13:4
"Marriage should be honored by all, and the marriage bed should be kept pure, for God will judge the adulterer and all the sexually immoral."
The sanctity of marriage should be known as a beautiful thing. The uniting of two people after marriage is also known to be beautiful. But marriage becomes corrupted when the bed isn't kept pure.
The sanctity of marriage should be a strong and powerful bond shared between two people. Marriage should be seen as the relationship between one ice box and one human on a hot summer day. The ice box provides the person with ice when they need it, and the person refills the ice box when it begins to get low.
