The following student report was submitted by Ambassador League Agent Marcel G. during the 2007-2008 League.

Every year thousands of people rush to the department stores for the holiday sales. They push they shove and sometimes use their elbows to bliss their way through the enormous crowds. Fights break out every year over toys, clothes, electronics, and etc.

1 Thessalonians Chapters 5:8
"But since we belong to the day, let us be self- controlled, putting on faith and love as a breast plate, and the hope of salvation as a helmet."

Christians have to have faith and self control when it comes to facing the temptations of satin. When we are approached we can't loose it we have to be in charge of our actions. There is no excuse for Christians to act like crazy holiday shoppers we have to have self control. We have to take the time out each day to put on the full armor of God.

1Peter Chapters 5:8
"Be self controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour."

The devil always has something up his sleeve to attract those who are followers of God. Rather it is in the form of a human being, money, or materialistic objects, you have to remain self controlled and be alert. The devil will catch on days when your armor is not on, and it is on those days that you must display an abundance amount of self control.

Proverbs Chapters 25:28
"Like a city whose walls are broken down is a man who lacks self control,"

A life with out self control is not a life at all. A fallen life is exactly what those without self control live. Without self control one continues to fall in the same deceitful traps set by the devil. People who don't take the time out to put on their breast plate can't walk in this world without tripping numerous of times.

Titus Chapters 2:2
"Teach the older men to be temperate, worthy of respect, self controlled, and sound in faith in love and in endurance."

If you have self control then share it with others display your strength. We can't live everyday like the angry shoppers, instead of fighting with one another its time to share wisdom.
