Truth
We live in a world that is filled with deceit; so when we come face to face with the truth we are ready to crumble up like a cookie. There have been times in every ones lives when they have had to tell lies to become the successful individuals they are today. God is the Truth; that could be why we in the flesh rebel from him and His word at times. Growing up I learned that the truth is something that never changes no matter the circumstances. As an adult it is evident that those words of wisdom are the truth because God's word remains the same through a sunny day or a rainy day, it never changes.
John-Chapters 17:1
"So it is the word of God that we look to find truth. And God's word is unified, consistent, unchanging-and humanly unchangeable."
Unlike an individual under pressure God's word never has and never will change. God has been true to us since we have been created and He will be true to us when we have eternal life.
John 4:23
"Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true whispers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks."
Real Christians and pretender Christians differ from each other through the way that they worship. A true follower of God will worship him in spirit and in truth; and in the end will be the type of worshiper that God will seek. A pretender follower will only choose to worship to put on an act to obtain attention from others.
John-Chapters 14:6
"Jesus said unto Him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."
Jesus is the truth and we disrespect his sacrifice to us each time we know the truth but continue to follow the deceit. It is confusing to witness millions including myself, lie instead of grasping the truth which is Gods word. It seems to be easier for one to lie then to read and follow God's word. There never was a fall of truth, but there was a fall in people's belief in truth. It all began with Adam and Eve when male and female decided to eat from the tree of bad fruit. They ate from the tree because they made the decisions to do so. They choose to follow deceit and not the truth; which was God's word's telling them not to eat from the tree. The same decisions are made today by thousands of people that push the truth to the side to follow deceit. Those who have little faith in the Lord crumble like a cookie when it is time to come face to face with the truth of the Lord.
