Why Sarah Palin Should be Vice-President.
Sarah Palin is an amazing woman. She cares about things that are important to Americans and one of her best qualities is that she is 100% pro-life. She not only says it but lives it, as she knew her precious baby boy would have Down syndrome before he was born. Many people would have an abortion or at least consider it, not Sarah. She believes all life has significance, even children with disabilities.
I love kids and having a little brother with Down syndrome myself, I know how special they are and it makes me feel really amazing knowing that Sarah Palin thinks the same way my family and I do. In our society people just put aside people with special needs and just say "oh there to much work why bother they will not amount to anything". Well Sarah is totally apposite she’s believes they are just like everyone else. Speaking about her Down syndrome son she says "Trig is no different, except he has one extra chromosome."
At first the Family was a little sad knowing there baby was not going to be like every other baby but the family worked through that and Sarah says, "she and Todd feel blessed and chosen by God". When Trig was born, Sarah and Todd’s son Track who was in the Army, texted home and said, "This is just so cool -- I finally got my brother." When Sarah was talking with some people after Trig's birth they were saying how sad it all was. Sarah replied "Many people will express sympathy, but we don't want or need that, because Trig will be a joy. You will have to trust me on this".
