God created us to be missionary's it doesn’t matter if we stay in our hometown or go over seas where we are we are to be missionary's. Everyone has to answer to God, wither God is calling them over seas or just to live in there home town to do his will. We are to be Gods witnesses. The modern man lives his life with know ultimate fixed and absolute reference point, that can define his life or the meaning of his existence. On the other hand Christians have a reason to live.
Our society is immune to the gospel. We just live our lives and just take the gospel for granted. Our society thinks there is know God and we try to separate our religious life from the rest of our life. We get so confused that we don't know if we are witnessing or being witnessed to. We get confused because everyone thinks something different and there are so many religions that people fall into. To cure ourselves we need to be thinking about our eternal life's and not just our life's here on earth.
Francis Scheefer Said "the humanist has both feet firmly planted in mid air" Then he said unless Humanism is stopped, it intends to beat to death the Christian base which made are culture possible. Humanism is not really wanting or trying to stay away from the world and their thinking. Humanism means just kind of blending in with society not trying to be different for God.
Pragmatism "Made in the USA" "If it works use it" Captures the spirit of pragmatism. If Pragmatism has a motto it would be "If there's a will there’s a way" We look to science or government to solve our problems and not to God. Some people say that God may work for you but it will not work for them. Pragmatism is the practical way to do things.
Hedonisms avoiding the bad and enjoying pleasure. Everyone is really hedonism in their own way, everyone would love to go through life happy and with out pain, but we need to remember it's the hard trials that make us tougher and stronger in Christ. God Even tells us that hard trials will make us stronger in him.
Work Ethic hasn't resulted because of the fall, it originates from God and if we have good work ethic it will satisfy God. Socialism means the well being of man is destroyed. It tells us in Romans 13 about our civil responsibility. Socialist don't believe in work ethic, they just want everyone else to do their work for them.
We need to remember that if God wants us to stay where we are and preach his word then we need to be happy with that. God sends some people over seas, but not everyone maybe he has us here for a reason. Our Family and Friends are just as important then that people over seas. God wants our unsaved family and Friends to be with him in heaven just as much as the people over seas.
