Mission: Action - Letter to the Editor #1
Should guns be completely outlawed? This was the question asked me, and my reply is no. Although somebody might say that it would make the streets safer, the opposite would take place. Once guns became outlawed, a black market for them would appear to supply them for those who desperately want them. And for those who illegally gain these weapons, they would then become the most powerful people in the community. Whereas in a community that everybody owned a gun, nobody would want to mess with anybody else. Now don’t get me wrong when I say this. I do believe that there are people who should not be allowed to own a gun. Also that it should be harder for some people to get a gun. But it takes no less meaning when I sy that people are less likely to attack someone with the same weapon.
