Hope
Recently the word 'hope' has become very popular, from campaign slogans to catchy advertisements. People are looking for hope in political leaders whose policies might provide them a better lifestyle, a job promotion or in their savings account. Hope can never be obtained by anything that will pass away on this earth, anything that is temporal.
The Bible tells us in Psalm 42:5 to put our hope in God. In 1 Corinthians 15:19 it also states: "For this life we have hope in Christ." Hope that is eternal can only be obtained through Jesus Christ, who conquered death on the cross so that we can have eternal life.
