Barack Parties Hard

We are in a recession. At least, that’s what Barack Obama said. When I think of a recession, I think of driving less, staying home, and pinching pennies in all areas of life. It doesn't make sense that the president elect, who is warning us that times are going to be hard would spend over $170 million dollars on his inaugural party. A recession doesn't seem so threatening when Obama out-spends Bush by $127 million and Clinton by $147 million. A $170,000,000 dollar party doesn't seem like a promising start to the change America needs.
