Mission: Research - Sanctity of Life
God is the creator of all. He created the starry heavens, the earth and all that is in it, including life. Human life was created in His own image (Genesis 1:26). We are the only living things on earth that were specially created to be like Christ. In John 1:3-4 it says "Through Him all things were made, in Him was life, and the life was the light of men." We all belong to God. We were made perfect, just how God wanted us to be. God does not make people ugly or dumb. In God's eyes we are His beautiful children, whom He loves very much. It hurts God when we complain about our appearance or ask why we were made. (Isaiah 45:9-12). In Romans 9:20-21 God is compared to a potter and Christians are the clay. The potter has the right to make with clay what He will. God does not make mistakes. He creates some people for noble purposes, and others for common use.
Ungodly people have destroyed life. They have been blinded from the truth behind the sanctity of life. In Jeremiah 19 and Psalms106, mothers and fathers sacrificed their sons and daughters to demons. The innocent were slaughtered. That is what is happening right now also. These legal killings are going on right now. They have been justified through evil laws, and by people who deny the truth. Abortion has taken the life of over a billion innocent babies. In the United States alone 4,000 babies are destroyed each day. Each of those babies had a future all planned out for them by God. He had set them apart (Isaiah 49:1,5; Gal. 1:15). In Ezekiel 16:20-21 God expresses how much he detests the killing of the innocent. He says that He will "Bring down what they have done on their own heads." Our culture makes abortion look like it is an acceptable thing to do. In God's eyes it is not. It is the same as killing an innocent human being. Christians need to get involved in the cause to save the lives of the innocent. We need to warn the wicked to turn from their sin (Ezekiel 33:7-9). We are to stand firm and resist the devil (Daniel 11:32b). A baby in the womb is not an "It." It is not just a fetus or an embryo, but a life with a spirit in it (Lk 1:14-15). It is a gift from God, a child of God.
Satan, unlike God, enjoys the killing of the innocent. He hates human life. In John 10:10 Jesus says "The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy." Satan is the thief. He was delighted when the Supreme Court case Roe vs. Wade passed. This legislation allowed the mother to abort her child for any reason up until the point that it is "viable". That means until it could survive outside the mother's womb, which is usually seven months. What satan did not see coming, though, was that Norma Mcorvey (alias Roe) would later become a Christian. She is now fighting to overturn the court case Roe vs. Wade. What satan intended for evil God intended for good. (Gen. 50:20). Christians are responsible for protecting life. God values life and so should we.
