Dear Editor,
Kudos to Nolan Finley for highlighting Hillsdale's courageous independence from government funding. President Larry Arnn's wisdom in his selection of students based on merit—dare I say character—exposes the injustice of racial profiling.
While Hillsdale says no to entitlements, it says yes to diligence, academic challenge and personal responsibility. As the college rebuffs government intervention, it advocates entrepreneurship, freedom of thought and personal liberty. As Hillsdale perseveres in forging young men and women of character, may this museum of America's founding principles also shine as the beacon of hope that will guide our path into the future.
