How you can volunteer to make a difference in young lives
The SSI Summer Program alone relies on nearly 150 volunteers to successfully run the program. There are other needs for volunteers in our Onsite and Ambassador League programs, as well as at events like our Annual Banquet or seminars. In addition, we always need help in the Lansing office. Whatever you can do would be appreciated. Below are a list of options for volunteering. If you know in which area you would like to volunteer, please fill out the Volunteer Sign-up Form. Thank you!
Pray
Download a handy list of prayer requests that you can print and insert in your Bible as a reminder to pray for the ministry, programs and staff of SSI.
Summer Program
There are many options for volunteering at the Summer Program. You can serve as a: Chaperone (adults), Aide-de-camp (college age), or speaker, be an expert coach for one of our many advanced tracks, role-play as a lobbyist or chair for our mock committee meetings at the Capitol, drive a bus, and more.
Onsite Program
Volunteer to be a lobbyist or chair a committee meeting at one of our Onsites held across Michigan.
Ambassador League Program
Have the awesome privilege of mentoring one of our Ambassador League agents completing the challenging one-year Ambassador League course.
Promote SSI
Distribute brochures, schedule a radio or TV interview, host a print ad in your publication, or anything else you can think of to help promote SSI's programs. Go to our Promotions Page to see all the options.

Volunteer in Our Lansing Office
We can always use help in our Lansing office with general office work; preparing mailings or putting together manuals for our programs. Complete the Volunteer Sign-up form to let us know how you can help and when.
