Franklin Road Christian School, October 22-23, 2008
It was exciting to visit FRCS again. SSI is now on the school calendar every other year to all of the sophomores and juniors. It was encouraging to hear some of the seniors, who were part of the Onsite two years ago, speak highly of SSI. One young man said that he thought it was a great experience and would like to do it again. The students responded enthusiastically, although as usual, there were some skeptics at first.
The faculty and staff rolled out the red carpet for us. It was great to hear them say things like, “We look forward to your visit with us,” and “We see the affect of SSI in the students,” and “This program is an incredible learning experience.” FRCS Principal, Vince Montoro speaks highly of the program in his endorsement letter:
“SSI's On-Site Program is a must for all Christian schools. The SSI curriculum reinforces solid, Christian foundations and enhances classroom instruction through authentic experiences. Our students were encouraged to be ambassadors for Christ, to be preservers of our nation's Judeo-Christian heritage and to understand and articulate a biblical world and life view.”
