OnSite Report

Plymouth Christian Academy, April 2-3, 2008

On April 2-3, Plymouth Christian Academy sponsored their third SSI Onsite Program and once again, it was a great success! Forty eight PCA and home school students completed the intense SSI two-day learning experience. It never ceases to amaze me that these young people, when challenged to a high degree, will rise to the occasion.

Kelly Gillette, the PCA government teacher sees SSI as an important part of his annual curriculum and we are privileged to work with their students each year. It was also exciting to have some SSI alumni and parents participating with us as lobbyists for this event. They told me that SSI played such an important role in their lives that they wanted to give back and help other students along the way. Also, two of our current Ambassador League members joined us as volunteers and they were a great help in making the program run smoothly.

I want to thank the PCA staff, the volunteers and the parents for their labor of love. In addition, we are indebted to the Rickert Family Foundation for helping underwrite the Onsite with a generous financial gift.
