Jackson Christian School
On March 15-16 we were back in the Jackson area conducting our 2nd annual SSI Program with Jackson Christian. Over 50 students participated in this special event graciously hosted by Spring Arbor University in the beautiful Poling Center. This high-tech building, which houses the Harvey Gainey School of Business, had a great classroom teaching setting and plenty of room for the breakout sessions.
Final Mock Legislative Session
Among the stellar group of VIP’s for the Committee Hearings were former U.S. Congressman Tim Walberg, Judge Thomas Wilson, Jackson County Prosecutor Henry Zavislak, Jackson County Commissioners David Elwell and Earl Polseski, Sherriff Dan Heyns and Undersherriff Jeremiah Hodshire.
It was an honor to invest in the students alongside JCS Administrator Jim Dolson and Government Teacher Tim Barsuhn. Tim is an excellent mentor for his students and he definitely shares our philosophy of setting the bar high and inspiring young people to achieve more!
