Audio PSAs

Here are two different PSAs (Public Service Announcements) -- one 30-second and one 60-second -- recorded by James Muffett for use on radio stations, streaming radio, websites, or anywhere else you would like to help us distribute them. They are free to download, use, and distribute, as long as you don't modify the content of the audio (changing file formats is fine) and as long as you play the entire file when you do play it.

Please consider helping promote SSI by downloading these files and sharing them or playing them on your radio station today! (You can download the files by right-clicking on the "download" link and selecting "save as" or "save target as" or "save file as" or something similar, depending on what system and browser you are using.)

If you are using this on the radio, please add this tagline (before March 31st):
"SSI's early registration deadline is March 31st. Don't wait! Sign up today and take advantage of the early registration discount."

Student Statesmanship Institute Hosts Dynamic Leadership Training Program for Teens

The Student Statesmanship Institute (SSI) Summer Program is a week-long event held in Lansing at Great Lakes Christian College. It is offered three separate weeks in June and July. The program is for high school-aged teenagers and utilizes real-to-life simulations in the Legislative, Judicial, Business and Media fields.

Student Statesmanship Institute (SSI) prepares teenagers to live out and defend their faith by encouraging them to set high standards for themselves and achieve more with their lives, instilling in them a Judeo-Christian worldview, inspiring them to become leaders through real-world critical thinking, and transforming their minds to think about themselves, their future, and their world in light of God’s purpose and plan for their lives.

SSI features a comprehensive, challenging curriculum that includes Comparative Worldviews, Christian Citizenship, American Heritage, Creation v. Evolution, Debate & Communication, Critical Thinking, Teamwork and more. Additionally, prominent Michigan leaders address the students on how to shine for Christ in their culture without compromising their values. Students learn in a Godly and uplifting atmosphere, and have a great time doing it!

Registration is currently open and SSI is offering an early registration discount for those who register and pay in full by March 31. Financial aid may be available for those with serious need. Group discounts are also available. Families can find registration information by visiting the SSI website at www.ssi-online.org. A $50 min. deposit is required to reserve a space. Chaperone opportunities are also available.

First-time students are enrolled in the Mock Legislature track. Advanced tracks are available for returning students. Track eligibility details can be found on SSI’s website. For further details, or to request brochures or a promotional DVD, visit the SSI website at www.ssi-online.org, email ssi@ssi-online.org or call 877-464-6388.
